Lip Augmentation / Lip Fillers
Dr Helen has undertaken several lips masterclass courses to perfect her technique, maintaining safety at all times.
Lips can look extremely natural, smooth and plumped, without the “shelf” above the lips. Lip fillers can also be used to improve the ageing lip, where lines in the red lip and in the above and below the lips have appeared, without the lips looking fake.
There are different thicknesses of filler which Dr Helen uses to ensure the result is right for the individual. A thicker filler is used to plump and beautify the lips, whereas a thinner filler is used to restore lost volume and eradicate lines in and around the lips.
Dr Helen now uses her preferred cannula technique at all times, with occasional needle use to enhance the philtrum columns, where needed. Full dental anaesthetia is administered for every lip treatment, which is only minimally felt given her experience as a dental surgeon working with nervous patients, to ensure that the area is fully numb to undergo treatment.
